Modihive started in 2020, aiming to bring its founders’ expertise in developing state-of-the-art hardware projects for clients in various sectors. We help founders, entrepreneurs and companies to transform their idea into a ready-to-market product, enabling to save time and money on designing and producing their first prototypes.
We stand along with the innovators that want to bring new products to the market, in the fastest way possible, saving them time and money from multiple iterations in the manufacturing process.
Working with many clients across different industries, we have developed an unique approach organizing, designing, testing and producing prototypes for hardware projects. Fast iterations, extended list of suppliers, in-house expertise on embedded systems and tested design process ensures that our final result will be meet all quality criteria, set from our client.
Ioannis Smanis
CEO & Founder
Computer Engineer, MEng, MSc
With a 12-year strong experience and background in the full circle of conceptual design, prototyping, and industrializing solutions, Ioannis has implemented concepts such as smart devices and the IoT in the biomedical field. Some of his work has been undertaken for the Samsung Design Innovation Center, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and University of Massachusetts in the USA. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Western Macedonia (Greece) and he has an MSc in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, (USA).
